Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Canada Going on Tour

Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Canada is driving forward with its "Powered by Commitment" campaign and will be on the road with its very own Canadian Truck Tour which began at the end of March! This unique, portable venue is Atlas Copco Canada's latest venture which will give customers an "up close and personal" exhibit of the construction product lines and help further educate their customers with a more hands-on experience.

The Canadian Sales Company's strategy is to heighten local visibility and brand recognition for construction equipment, and will do so by bringing the product lines directly to their customers!

This mobile exhibition has been launched from the Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Head Office facility located in Sudbury, Ontario on March 31st, 2005, showcasing its wares to local customers, government representatives and media officials. In addition, various college and universities will also have the opportunity to participate in the Tour's inaugural presentation.

From Sudbury, the Exhibition will travel south to attend the National Heavy Equipment Show held in Toronto, Ontario (April 7-8, 2005) where a large group of their target customers and distributors will be in attendance. Throughout May, the Truck tour will continue on to Canada's East Coast where one of Atlas Copco's key distributors Wilson Equipment is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Heading back west, the Truck tour will make scheduled stops through Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto again to visit various distributors and enable customers to see the broad range of products they have to offer for numerous applications.

By June 3rd, the Eastern leg of the tour will have come full circle, and again arrive in Sudbury for a special demonstration of Atlas Copco construction equipment at a local quarry.
