Enerkem inc., un producteur de biocarburants et de produits chimiques à partir de déchets, annonçait récemment que Robert Shaw s’est joint à son équipe de direction à titre de premier vice-président et chef de la direction financière.

Pendant sa carrière, monsieur Shaw a occupé des postes de dirigeant dans divers secteurs, notamment le pétrole et le gaz, l’énergie, la production industrielle, les gaz industriels et les produits et services de consommation. Il a notamment occupé des postes de haute direction dans les domaines des finances et de l’exploitation au sein d’entreprises publiques et privées. Avant de se joindre à Enerkem, il était chef de la direction financière à Southwest Oilfield Products, une société privée qui fabrique de l’équipement pétrolier. Il a également été trésorier chez Transocean et chez Air Liquide. Son expérience englobe la trésorerie, les relations avec les investisseurs, la planification et l’analyse financières, la finance opérationnelle, la gestion du risque, et les fusions et acquisitions. Robert Shaw est parfaitement bilingue.

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas annonçait récemment la nomination de Dominic Dubé au poste de directeur soutien technique, desservant le réseau canadien de concessionnaires Hyundai. Il se joint à Hyundai après 23 années d’expérience dans l’industrie de la machinerie lourde.

Auparavant, monsieur Dubé a occupé diverses fonctions chez un distributeur d’équipement de construction et minier, en tant que technicien sur les chantiers, formateur technique, technicien à l’interne et directeur du service.

«Dominic est un atout pour l’équipe de support produit, grâce à son expertise dans l’industrie des solutions axées sur le client», déclarait Ernesto Lopez, responsable du service, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas. «Hyundai s’est engagée à fournir une excellente expérience-client, un soutien complet de ses produits et un suivi rapide, et Dominic va nous aider à respecter cet engagement.»

Atlas Copco Construction Equipment Canada has appointed Dan Fazekas as Technical Sales representative – Construction Tools Division, Ontario and Manitoba.

Dan Fazekas began his career in 2005 as a welder with Hitachi Equipment. Subsequent positions in sales and marketing with Steel Craft and AMM Manufacturing helped to develop a strong portfolio of skills and a strong sense of customer focus. Most recently he worked with HMA Equipment where he was responsible for a large range of construction equipment including grapples, buckets, hydraulic hammers, pumps and buckets.

Mr. Fazekas also brings with him a strong background in account management. With previous experience in both internal and external sales, he has an ability to manage the sales process from start to finish ensuring that customer needs are addressed throughout the demonstration, quotation and delivery processes.

Superior Industries, Inc. recently named Mike Schultz its product manager for the company’s new crushing equipment product solutions. Mr. Schultz comes to Superior with two decades of past experience in the construction aggregates and metal mining industries.

Most recently, he was employed at Terex Mineral Processing Systems as a market area director. In this role he was responsible for sales, service, marketing, dealers and warranty. Before this position, he held several other assignments for the company including crusher product manager, operations manager, international market development and technical services manager. Before Terex, Mike Schultz was employed at the Raring Corporation in Vancouver, Washington.

“Mike is a welcome addition to our growing team at Superior and his 20 years of technical experience will be a tremendous resource for our customers,” said John Garrison, Superior’s Crushing and Screening product director.

Terex Corporation recently named John L. Garrison, Jr. CEO and president. He also became a member of the Terex board of directors. Mr. Garrison succeeds outgoing CEO Ronald M. DeFeo, who will continue to serve as executive chairman of the company through December 31, 2015. Mr. DeFeo will continue as a consultant for Terex after December 31, 2015 through December 31, 2016.

Mr. Garrison joins Terex from Textron, Inc. where he served as president and CEO of their Bell Helicopter Segment. Prior to that, he was president of Textron’s Industrial Segment and E-Z-GO.

He was also president and CEO at Azurix Corporation and held senior leadership positions at Case Corporation, and served as an officer in the United States Army.

Takeuchi-US recently announced Scott Herr as the new Northeast regional service manager. Mr. Herr’s responsibilities include service and warranty support for the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. The support includes handling service issues, warranty issues, technical support, and service training.

Scott Herr has been working with Takeuchi since May of 2015. He was previously employed by CNH Industrial America for over 20 years and he also worked at Manitou for 5 years where he held similar service positions.

The move is one of several positive structural changes for Takeuchi in their service department recently, which includes Ron Snyder as National Service and Warranty manager, Tom Reichling as Northwest Regional Service manager, Gary Bryan as Service Support manager, and Joe Topia as a National Service Training manager.
