Meritor Mobile™ iPad Application Updated for Improved Customer Service

Meritor, Inc. has released updated content for Meritor Mobile™, a sales and service iPad information tool for customers, featuring the company’s complete North American product portfolio.

Meritor Mobile has been updated to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of sales and service personnel in the commercial vehicle and industrial sectors. The application includes the following updates:

  • Addition of Meritor defense, specialty and off-highway information;
  • Comprehensive product portfolio grouped by business unit on the home screen;
  • Increased aftermarket content;
  • Social media button to include direct access to Meritor’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn channels.

“Our customers need product information at their fingertips,” said James Taylor, general manager, North American Field Operations, Meritor. “DriveForce™, our sales and service team, has received positive feedback from users since the tool was introduced in 2011. As a result, we expanded the application to include all North American product content.”
Meritor Mobile is the public version of the Meritor iPad application used by DriveForce. The application, which is designed for easy navigation, includes sales brochures, maintenance manuals, parts books, technical bulletins, images and videos.
Meritor Mobile is available for free download through the Apple App Store and iTunes. The download takes approximately one hour to sync. While a network connection is not required for use, it is suggested that users connect with Wi-Fi when upgrading the application.
