Monsieur Moxey compte plus de 25 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie de l’équipement d’accès, tant du côté du client dans le secteur de la location avec SkyKing et United Rentals, que du côté de la fabrication avec Genie, ce qui lui a permis de bien comprendre les besoins et les attentes des clients. Il apporte avec lui une solide expérience dans l’établissement de relations à long terme et contribuera à développer les ventes de Sinoboom, la reconnaissance de la marque et la confiance au sein de l’industrie canadienne de la location de matériel. «La carrière impressionnante de Jim dans l’industrie de l’aérospatiale et sa connaissance approfondie du marché canadien de la location sont importantes au moment où Sinoboom accroît sa présence au Canada. Avant sa carrière dans l’industrie de l’accès, Jim Moxey était un joueur de hockey professionnel dans la Ligue nationale de hockey, jouant comme attaquant avec plusieurs équipes américaines.
Innergex énergie renouvelable inc. annonçait récemment la nomination de Pascale Tremblay en tant que chef de la direction des actifs. Dans son nouveau rôle, madame Tremblay supervisera l’exploitation des 76 installations d’énergie renouvelable de la société au Canada, aux États-Unis, en France et au Chili. Pascale Tremblay succède à Peter Grover, l’actuel vice-président principal - Exploitation, qui après 16 ans de service réduira graduellement ses responsabilités dans l’intention de prendre sa retraite à la fin 2021. Dans l’intérim, monsieur Grover occupera le poste de conseiller exécutif pour soutenir madame Tremblay dans son intégration. Avant de se joindre à Innergex, Pascale Tremblay a occupé divers postes opérationnels chez Pratt & Whitney Canada, étant jusqu’à récemment vice-présidente, Exploitation, Service client. Elle a par le passé travaillé au niveau d’aménagements hydroélectriques, y compris diverses installations à la Baie James, en tant que gestionnaire de projets chez la firme de génie-conseil Tecsult, Inc. Elle est titulaire d’une maîtrise en gestion de l’ingénierie (1998) et d’un baccalauréat en génie civil (1990) tous deux de l’Université de Sherbrooke, au Québec. Elle possède des certificats de Darden, de l’Université de Virginie en Virginie et de Thayer Groupe de Développement à West Point, New York, de l’université d’INSEAD, Fontainebleau, en France et d’Helios de HEC Montréal, au Québec, pour l’éducation continue en développement de leadership, et est également membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec depuis 1990.
Atlas Evaluation & Inspection Services (AEIS), qui fournit des services d’inspection, d’essai, de certification, d’analyse des défaillances, d’ingénierie et de recherche sur les matériaux pour les projets d’infrastructure, en mettant l’accent sur la métallurgie du soudage et les essais non destructifs, annonçait récemment l’embauche de Terence Hampton, EIT, en tant que chef de projet. Monsieur Hampton est un ingénieur civil avec plus de 25 ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la construction, dont plus d’une décennie dans l’inspection, la gestion d’équipes d’inspecteurs sur le terrain, l’examen et la finalisation des rapports d’inspection, ainsi que l’organisation et la mise en œuvre de nouvelles stratégies de rapport. Consultant de longue date de l’autorité portuaire de New York et du New Jersey, il a travaillé sur des projets tels que le Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH), le réaménagement du terminal A de Newark de l’autorité portuaire de New York et du New Jersey, le remplacement du pont Goethals, ainsi que la station de métro de la 86e rue de la Metropolitan Transit Authority, le viaduc de Massapequa Park et les améliorations du NJ Turnpike et du tunnel Rondout-West Branch. |

Schneider Electric Canada, together with the France Canada Chamber of Commerce Ontario (FCCCO) is proud to announce Adrian Thomas as the newly elected president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada (EUCCAN). Mr. Thomas, who currently serves as the country president of Schneider Electric Canada is entrusted with continuing the growth of EUCCAN by reinforcing transatlantic cooperation between the European and Canadian business communities. Adrian Thomas brings over 20-years of experience in the electrical and automation industry in North America. He joined Schneider Electric Canada in 2016 as the leader of the Building segment, and has since held multiple leadership roles before his appointment to Canada Country President in 2020. In addition to working with EUCCAN, Schneider Electric is a founding member of the FCCCO since its inception.
Maureen Amari has been promoted to vice president of operations within RT ECP (the Environmental and Construction Professional Practice of RT Specialty). Ms. Amari was the first team member to join the RT ECP team in 2005. Starting as an account and office manager, she now supervises the organization’s training efforts and day-to-day operations, while also serving RT ECP’s resident specialist on process and surplus lines compliance issues. “Maureen has been with us since the beginning,” said Jefferey S. Lejfer, president, RT Specialty’s Hamilton, New Jersey, office. “She has grown alongside our team and played a valued role in our growth from a niche player to the market’s premier resource for environmental and construction-related insurance solutions. Her dedication to this team and our clients has been a driving force behind our success for the past 16 years.” Maureen Amari joined the RT ECP team with more than 25 years of commercial and personal insurance lines experience. In addition to serving as an assistant vice president at Aon for 15 years, she also worked at Prudential in the UK for 3 years and independent insurance firms located in New Jersey for another 10. RT Environmental and Construction Professional (RT ECP) is a part of the RT Specialty division of RSG Specialty, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Illinois. RSG Specialty, LLC, is a subsidiary of Ryan Specialty Group, LLC (RSG). It provides wholesale insurance brokerage and other services to agents and brokers.
On October 1st, 2020, Cargotec Corporation and Konecranes Plc announced a plan to combine the 2 companies through a merger, subject to regulatory and other approvals. The boards of directors of Cargotec and Konecranes have agreed to select Mika Vehviläinen as the president and CEO of the future company. The appointment of Mr. Vehviläinen will become effective upon completion of the merger which is currently expected to take place by the end of H1/2022. Until completion, both companies will operate fully separately and independently. Mika Vehviläinen has served as Cargotec’s CEO since 2013. He is also a member of the board of directors of Danfoss A/S. Prior to joining Cargotec, he acted as president and CEO of Finnair Plc between 2010 and 2013, as COO for Nokia Siemens Networks between 2007 and 2009, and in various positions with Nokia between 1991 and 2007. Further, Mr. Vehviläinen has acted as vice chairman of the board of directors of Elisa Corporation between 2014 and 2018 (member between 2012 and 2014) and of Vacon Plc between 2010 and 2014 (member during 2009). Mr. Vehviläinen holds a Master of Science degree in Economics.
