New Cat Compact Wheel Loaders Deliver Added Performance
Caterpillar has added 3 new models to the Cat® M Series compact wheel loader range, each with significant design enhancements: 910, 914, and 920, the latter replacing the 918M. New options are available, and certain features available only as options on former models are now standard. All the new models are available in a high-lift configuration, and the 914 and 920 are available in an aggregate-handling configuration. The new Cat C3.6 engine has the same torque performance as the Cat 4.4 it replaces. It comes with a modest horsepower boost, and up to 5% gains in fuel-efficiency. The Cat C3.6 meets Tier 4 final emission standards. Fuel-tank capacity also is increased, allowing extended work cycles. New auxiliary lines are available (from mid-lift arm down to the coupler) for all the new loader models when the 3- or 4-valve option is selected. This feature allows ease of use for more work tools within the Caterpillar portfolio.
