HIDROMEK, Leaves Its Mark on Global Construction Machine Sector

HIDROMEK recently put its signature on 2 great international success. On top of having its name among the 50 largest global construction equipment manufacturers on the “Yellow Table” list for the 6^th time, HIDROMEK, also received 2 important awards at the Red Dot 2018 Design Awards.

The “Yellow Table” is composed by KHL Group, a business that provides information on construction machine manufacturers all over the world. Being listed on the “Yellow Table” 6 years in a row, HIDROMEK stands out as the first and only Turkish construction machine manufacturer to do so.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design and communication design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. There are prize categories for product design, design agencies, and design concepts. Organized since 1955, the Red Dot Design Awards are considered as one of the most prestigious design contest in the world. In 2018, HIDROMEK received double awards for its HMK 60 CR mid-size excavator and HMK 145 LC SR short radius crawler excavator, which are also known as the “Two Smart Giants”. The Red Dot Awards will be handed in Essen, Germany on July 9, 2018.
