Sherwin-Williams Canada Announces Addition of Krylon Industrial Coatings to its Consumer Brands Portfolio

Consumer Brands Division of Sherwin-Williams Canada now extends its arm to Krylon Industrial high performance coatings, specially formulated for industrial, institutional and commercial use.

“The Krylon Industrial line lends considerable added value to our portfolio of brands, while reinforcing our competitive position in the Canadian marketplace,” states Ahin Bose, director of marketing, Consumer Brands Division of Sherwin-Williams Canada. “Targeted to professionals, it is an appreciable addition to our current range of products. This line of high performance light industrial coatings provides an enhancement to our traditional architectural products and is certain to be well received by Canadian paint dealers. It provides them with the potential to grow their businesses and expand their customer base.”

The Krylon Industrial line, intended for light to moderate industrial use, is aimed mainly at professionals. The line includes alkyd and acrylic enamels, as well as a variety of easy-to-use, easy-to-apply products such as epoxy and urethane coatings, industrial primers, solvents and thinners. Formulated for the most challenging of environments, multiple brand references will satisfy the needs of industry, commercial and residential builders, businesses, public and private institutions, as well as sports organizations.

For a year now, the Consumer Brands Division of Sherwin-Williams Canada has been working to incorporate the Krylon Industrial range into the company’s broader product offering. Work has entailed the development of a marketing program specifically tailored to the Canadian market, technical support services, point-of-sale materials, a product catalogue brimming with a wealth of useful information, as well as a color chart showcasing the breadth of shades on offer.

Krylon Industrial products are already available at a number of points of sale in Canada, mainly hardware stores, paint stores and building supply centers. Sherwin-Williams Canada is in the process of expanding product presence nationwide with the emphasis on paint retailers interested in broadening their product offering and attracting new customers.
