Liebherr Canada ltée est fière d’accueillir 2 nouveaux membres dans son équipe des ventes.

Marco Couturier se joint à l’équipe en tant que directeur des équipements usagés et des attachements. Monsieur Couturier possède une profonde connaissance de la mécanique d’engins de chantiers et plus de 10 ans d’expérience dans la gestion de flotte d’équipement lourd.

Jose Ayala occupera la fonction de représentant des ventes pour la rive-nord de Montréal. Monsieur Ayala possède 25 années d’expérience dans la vente de machinerie de construction.

Liebherr, manufacturier/distributeur, est dans la vente, le service de divers secteurs de la machinerie lourde tel que les pelles sur pneus ou sur chenille, les chargeurs sur roues ainsi que les bouteurs depuis 1973 au Canada.

Le groupe Manitou a nommé Richard L. Alton à la tête de la division Compact Equipment Product (équipements compacts) de Manitou. Il sera directement rattaché à Michel Denis, directeur général du groupe Manitou.

Monsieur Alton a travaillé pendant près d’une décennie chez JLG où il avait la responsabilité de la gestion des marchés internationaux (ventes, support après-vente, lancement produits, et supervision des partenariats stratégiques. Il était encore récemment vice-président distribution de la société Contech Engineered Solutions.

L’Association patronale des entreprises en construction du Québec (APECQ) est heureuse d’annoncer la nomination de Rose Fierimonte à titre de présidente du conseil d’administration de l’APECQ. Il s’agit de la première femme à accéder au poste de présidente de l’association depuis sa fondation, il y a 120 ans. Sa nomination a eu lieu lors de l’assemblée générale tenue le 6 avril dernier.

Madame Fierimonte est présidente de Dorbec Construction inc. et de Rose Construction inc. Elle a à son actif plus de 25 ans d’expérience à titre d’entrepreneure générale. Rose Fierimonte est également présidente et chef de la direction de Développement Dorich inc. et Médico Construction inc., qui sont des sociétés d’investissements spécialisées. Au fil des ans, ses entreprises ont acquis une expertise reconnue dans la construction, la modernisation et l’agrandissement de centres commerciaux en milieu urbain et d’édifices institutionnels ainsi que résidentiels multiplexes. De plus, Madame Fierimonte est présidente-fondatrice sortante des ELLES de la construction, une association pour les femmes de l’industrie de la construction, qu’elle a présidée de 2013 à 2016.

Rose Fierimonte siège au C.A. de l’APECQ depuis 2013. Elle a présidé différents comités relevant du C.A. dont les comités Éthique et gouvernance et Ressources humaines. Elle a également agi à titre de vice-présidente et trésorière pour l’association. madame Fierimonte succède à Marco Santoriello, président de Coffrage Santco.

VMAC is pleased to announce Stuart Coker has accepted the position of director of Operations. Responsible for providing leadership and management of VMAC’s production, execution and planning of manufacturing operations.

Stuart Coker began his career at VMAC almost 20 years ago, and has worked in various quality and engineering roles. Early in his tenure at VMAC, he led a team of engineers on a project for Lincoln Electric to develop the Air Vantage 500 which combined the functions of a Welder, Generator and Air Compressor. Prior to this most recent promotion Mr. Coker gained valuable experience in other positions including Quality Engineer and Quality & Engineering manager. Most recently, as the director of Operational Excellence, he focused on optimizing organizational efficiency while fostering a positive work environment and maintaining lean methodology.

“Stuart’s dedication and ongoing commitment to VMAC is exemplary”, says Jim Hogan, president of VMAC. “We couldn’t be happier that he has accepted this role.”

JCB has announced the appointment of Richard Fox-Marrs as president and CEO of JCB Inc., responsible for JCB operations in North America, including sales and support for the construction, agricultural, rental, government and defense industries. Additionally, Mr. Fox-Marrs is responsible for production at JCB North America’s Savannah headquarters, where the company manufactures the 3CX backhoe loader, skid steer and compact track loaders, along with the military specific High Mobility Engineer Excavator and Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift.

“As JCB’s senior executive in North America, Richard Fox-Marrs will further our position as a global leader in technical innovation, product quality and customer service, and accelerate our strong business performance and growth across all business sectors,” said Graeme Macdonald, JCB CEO.

Richard Fox-Marrs is a 26-year veteran of JCB. Prior to his current appointment, he served as JCB North America’s president of agriculture. His previous positions included managing director of the Loadall telescopic handler business unit and managing director of JCB’s global agricultural division. Mr. Fox-Marrs’ work in the North American market dates back to 2001 when he was responsible for establishing JCB Agriculture in North America.

Richard Fox-Marrs currently serves on the board of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and has served on the Farm Equipment Council in the UK and was chairman of the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) Farm Equipment Council in 2013-2014. He also served as a board member for AEA and represented the UK on the European Committee of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Associations Board.

Hatz Diesel of America announced that Eric Hoffmann has been added to its growing staff as application engineer. Mr. Hoffmann joins the firm from Cummins where he was an application engineer for its diesel engines. His background also includes powertrain control system development and production engineering experience in the OEM/Off-Highway markets along with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He will provide technical and engineering support to the Hatz sales team, distributors and OEM customers.
