The Michelin X One® XZU®S tire, the fifth version of the popular X One wide single introduced by Michelin Americas Truck Tires, is designed for use on urban delivery vehicles, and in or urban/regional applications such as the waste industry. It is the first Michelin X One tire specifically designed for all wheel position use offering 23 400 lb/axle carrying capacity plus lighter weight to increase payload and improve productivity. The Michelin X One XZU S tire, size 455/55R22.5 load range M, is the first X One technology tire designed for use in a specific vocation. The X One wide single tire has been previously utilized only in over-the-road trucking segments. The X One XZU S tire was designed to deliver multiple retreads for its customers. Michelin recently introduced a line of retread products for the X One XZU S that will deliver prolonged life while maximizing the customer's tire investment and delivering excellent fuel and weight savings.
