Dynapac annonçait récemment la nomination de Tim Hyland au poste de directeur des ventes pour les comptes clés et gouvernementaux de toute la gamme Dynapac qui comprend des finisseurs, des alimentateurs et des équipements de compactage.
«C’est un grand privilège de revenir travailler chez Dynapac, qui fabrique des produits solides et qui bénéficient d’un service exceptionnel», déclarait monsieur Hyland.

Tim Hyland a précédemment occupé les fonctions de directeur régional des ventes et de directeur des ventes de district pour Dynapac. Avant d’assumer ses nouvelles fonctions, il était directeur des ventes pour l’Amérique du Nord chez SENNEBOGEN. Au début de sa carrière, il a travaillé dans le secteur de la location en tant que directeur de la branche sud-est de Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. Il a également travaillé chez Liebherr et JCB.

«L’industrie des équipements de construction est vraiment une petite communauté, et le succès se construit sur la réputation de faire ce qui est bon pour le client», ajoutait Tim Hyland. «C’est la philosophie que j’ai apportée à chaque poste».

Les nouvelles responsabilités de monsieur Hyland consistent notamment à représenter MARINI-ERMONT of North America, un partenaire de Dynapac au sein du groupe FAYAT, qui fabrique des centrales d’enrobage en continu, par lots et à froid.

CNH Industrial N.V. annonçait récemment la nomination de Leandro Lecheta à la tête de la division Équipements de construction pour l’Amérique du Nord, supervisant à la fois les activités de CASE Construction Equipment et de New Holland Construction Equipment, ainsi que l’activité CNH Industrial Aftermarket Solutions, l’organisation des pièces détachées et des services de la société.

Leandro Lecheta a précédemment occupé le poste de directeur financier (CFO) pour le secteur agricole chez CNH Industrial, ainsi que le poste de directeur des opérations (COO) de la société pour l’Amérique du Nord.
«Leandro a fait preuve d’un leadership fort et d’une véritable passion dans chacun des postes qu’il a occupés au sein de notre entreprise», déclarait Stefano Pampalone, président de la construction chez CNH Industrial. «Ses rôles variés l’ont préparé à diriger le secteur de la construction en Amérique du Nord, en se concentrant sur la qualité et la fiabilité des produits, l’excellence des opérations et de la fabrication, et un plan de croissance durable».

Monsieur Lecheta sera basé au siège nord-américain de CNH Industrial à Burr Ridge, dans l’Illinois.

Appointments

The Ontario Asphalt Pavement Council, a council of the Ontario Road Builders’ Association, elected Ivan Levac P.Eng, Ing., assistant manager, City and Commercial division, R.W. Tomlinson, as chair of the Council during ORBA’s 93rd annual general meeting which took place during ORBA’s convention in Toronto on February 3rd. Mr. Levac takes over the helm of the Council board from Rick Logozzo, general manager, Coco Paving Inc., who served as OAPC’s chair last year.

Originally from Sturgeon Falls, Mr. Levac, is a resident of Ottawa. He is a licensed professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa.

Mr. Levac first became active in the Council in 2016 when he joined the board of the Ontario Hot Mix Producers’ Association. It was at that time he also became a member of the OAPC’s Plant and Paving Committee. In addition to his involvement with the OAPC he served on the board of the National Capital Heavy Construction Association (NCHCA), based in Ottawa, starting in 2010, and was president of the NCHCA from 2014-2015.

“Ivan has a wide-range of experience in various sectors of the industry and has a significant depth of knowledge,” said Rick Logozzo, “I am confident that with the experience and passion he brings, he will successfully lead the charge for the Council’s continued pursuit of excellence in asphalt pavements.”

Peter Miller, executive vice president of business development & sales at Pro-Tech Industries, was installed today as 56^th Board chair of NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry. He accepted the position from immediate past Board chair Wm. Craig Bonham, vice president, commercial vehicle at Safe Fleet, at NTEA’s Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show^® 2020, March 3-6, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mr. Miller joined Pro-Tech Industries more than 30 years ago. He served in various roles, including branch manager, vice president and president, before settling into his current position in 2016. He has a proven track record of industry experience, and serves as the main point of contact supporting customer groups in the transportation and work truck industries.

In 2014, Peter Miller was elected to serve on NTEA’s Board and, for the last 6 years, has become heavily involved in committee work. In addition to his many contributions, he chaired the temporary Truck Equipment 101 Task Force in 2015 and the Finance & Investment Committee in 2017. He served as convention chair for the Education Committee in 2019.

Also serving on the Board’s executive committee are Jon Sievert of Douglas Dynamics Inc.; Tina Albright of TBEI Inc.; and David J. Scheitlin of Auto Truck Group LLC.
