Le président directeur-général de Supermétal Structures Inc., André Bouchard, est heureux d'annoncer le retour de Jean-François Blouin, ing., au siège social de Saint-Romuald et sa nomination à titre de directeur général de l'entreprise. Jean-François Blouin a été l'un des principaux architectes du succès de Supermétal en Alberta. Au terme de son séjour de 18 mois à Edmonton à titre de directeur de la division de l'ouest, l'entreprise y a effectué une percée sans précédent en terme de ventes tout en maintenant élevé le niveau de satisfaction de la clientèle. Rappelons que Supermétal a obtenu récemment le contrat de charpente métallique du Centre de divertissement de course équestre de Calgary, un mandat de près de 2000 t. L'entreprise s'est aussi vue confier, par Hitachi America, la structure des quatre bâtiments principaux de la nouvelle centrale électrique Keephills 3 du tandem Epcor/Transalta, près d'Edmonton. Ses nouvelles responsabilités l'amèneront à superviser l'ensemble des contrats à l'échelle de l'Amérique et à voir au développement des affaires de l'entreprise dans sa globalité.

Denis Gougeon has been a member of Simson Maxwell's management team since 2004 as Regional Manager, Eastern Canada and has over 30 years experience within the power generation and engine distribution industries. He has successfully developed and grown the Simson Maxwell Eastern Canada business in Ontario and Quebec over the past 4 years. Simson-Maxwell will be looking to Denis Gougeon for continued leadership and experience in the future as it grows and prospers across Canada. André Bouchard, president of Supermetal Structures Inc., is pleased to announce the return of Jean-François Blouin, Eng., to the St-Romuald head office and his nomination as general manager of Supermetal Structures, effective March 10. Jean-François Blouin has been one of the main architects of Supermetal's Alberta breakthrough. During tenure in Edmonton, the company reached unprecedented success in sales and client satisfaction in Western Canada. It was recently awarded the contract to fabricate and erect the structural steel for the United Horsemen of Alberta's Racing Entertainment Centre near Calgary, as well as four buildings at the Epcor/TransAlta-owned, Keephills 3 coal-fired generating facility. Knowing the Alberta market better than anyone else, Blouin is well placed to support the Western Division from a distance and help it achieve its objectives. As well, his new position will have him supervising all contracts in North America and overseeing business development in general.
