Kärcher unveils line of natural gas-heated, hot water pressure washers

Kärcher has introduced a new line of stationary, natural gas-heated, hot water pressure washers that fit a compact footprint of only 28-by-44 inches. These industrial-grade models are ideal for indoor cleaning jobs that require hot water to cut through oil and grime.

The HDS NG line is part of the Liberty series, the latest addition to Kärcher's family of pressure washers. The 14 HDS models deliver cleaning power ranging from 2,8 to 4,8 GPM (gallons per minute) and 1000 to 3000 PSI (pounds per square inch) of pressure. All can be converted for heating by liquid propane gas. All are powered by electricity, with a variety of configurations available ranging from 120 Volt to 575 Volt 3 phase.

The HDS NG is housed in a rugged metal cabinet that is painted with an epoxy powder coat finish for all-weather protection. All models also contain a belt-drive industrial pump with a 5-year warranty.

The HDS NG has a number of attractive options including remote operating stations that allow the pressure washer to feed up to four remote workstations elsewhere in the wash facility. Also available: electronic ignition for operator convenience; insulated, stainless steel wrap; time-delay shutdown for automatic turn off if the machine is inadvertently left running; and a wheel kit so the LP-heated version of the HDS can be moved around.

An innovative leader in the cleaning industry for more than 50 years, Kärcher is the world's largest manufacturer of hot and cold water pressure washers.
