Mecalac’s AX1000 Offers Stability, Intuitive Operation and Heavy-Duty Performance in One Compact Package

Combining heavy-duty performance with self-stabilizing maneuverability and a sleek design, the Mecalac AX1000 – and all models in the AX Articulated Loader Series – features maximum benefits in one cost-efficient package for utility, construction, landscaping and recycling.

The AX1000 stands out in a crowded market due to its monoboom. It provides greater rigidity and strength, resisting the twisting that can occur with the traditional 2-arm setup. The monoboom design allows clear visibility from the cab.

The AX1000 also offers greater stability because the machine’s pivot joint is offset at a positive angle. As the machine articulates, the center of gravity is transferred to the rear, so it can re-level itself, greatly reducing the risk of the machine toppling over.

The AX1000 has a standard bucket volume of 1 m3 plus a 75-hp engine. The machine has an industry-leading lift capacity of 4,100 kg. The machine uses a diesel oxidation catalyst for pollution control – so no need for a diesel particulate filter or diesel exhaust fluid and associated downtime. It travels up to 30.6 km/h.

By placing a keen focus on operator comfort and safety, Mecalac’s platform design allows operators to get into and out of the machine easily as well as complete 90% of daily checks on the ground. Another added benefit is the AX1000’s common diagnostic tools, which support quick service. Reduced downtime spent on maintenance means that the machine spends less time in the shop and more time in the field for added productivity.
