Guardian's B7-Comfort Harness Wins Innovation Award
Guardian recently announced its B7-Comfort Harness has won the 2023 Pro Tool Innovation Award (PTIA) as the most innovative product in the category of Safety-Tethering and Fall Protection. In its 11th year, the Pro Tool Innovation Awards seek to discover and recognize the most innovative tools, accessories, and products across a wide variety of industries and categories. elow is what PTIA judges had to say about the B7-Comfort Harness: “One of the temptations to compromise on fall protection is the discomfort that comes from wearing a harness. Guardian is specifically going after that pain point with their B7-Comfort harness. It is more than just adding padding though, it’s a combination of that plus adjustability and movement that not only makes the harness comfortable to wear, but also ensures that you’re able to maintain mobility, so your entire body remains comfortable while you work. When you’re more comfortable, you’re more productive, and that’s worth its weight in gold.” The B7-Comfort Harness is packed with unique and patented features, including industry-exclusive adjustment and rescue methods. This includes the patent-pending DiaLock Adjusters, the unique Three-Six-O Harness Chassis, and the first ever patent-pending adjustable padding set on a fall protection harness – particularly the adjustable waist pad, which lends to the Adjustable Tool Bag Attachment System. “We’re very excited to be recognized by the Pro Tool Innovation Award committee as the most innovative product in Fall Protection for 2023. Significant effort and teamwork went into the development of the B7-Comfort Harness. Everybody involved in the design and launch of this innovative harness should be extremely proud today. Guardian’s goal is to always advance Height Safety to new levels, and we felt we were able to do that with this harness,” said Sean Wirth, senior product manager at Guardian.
