McElroy’s New Tritan 560 at MINExpo
McElroy had one of its latest innovations, the Tritan™ 560, on-site at MINExpo, held September 24-26 in Las Vegas. The Tritan 560 offers a combination of rugged utility, operator safety, and industry-leading technology to boost efficiency and reliability in the field. With its full 360° rotation and boom that can raise, extend, and curl the carriage to approach and load pipe, the Tritan eliminates the need to top-load pipe into a fusion machine. “As the needs of the mining sector – and all other related industries – continue to change in size and scope, McElroy is committed to providing the world’s most dependable pipe fusion equipment to ensure that each job is done right the first time,” said McElroy president and CEO Chip McElroy. “It’s always an exciting opportunity to be on the ground at a show like MINExpo to see how the industry is evolving and discover how we can better meet the needs of the market.” At MINExpo, multiple McElroy specialists were available to answer questions and demonstrate the many ways McElroy equipment can improve operator efficiency and productivity. “We’re excited to showcase the many different pieces of equipment that we’re bringing to MINExpo,” said McElroy Sales Channel manager Jason Penland. “This event will be a perfect opportunity for people to learn more about the Tritan and how it can impact your jobsite performance.” In addition to the Tritan, the McElroy booth included the lightweight and versatile Acrobat™ 180 and the small-but-mighty Pit Bull® 14 and the DataLogger, McElroy’s ruggedized tablet designed to record all pertinent fusion parameters for quality control and inspection purposes.
