All-Welded Flanged Diaphragm Seals for Hazardous Process Environments
Ashcroft, Inc. recently introduced of the Ashcroft® 502 and 503 All-Welded Flanged Diaphragm Seals. Engineered to isolate sensitive instruments from hazardous and corrosive process media in the most demanding applications including sour gas separation and biogas and biodiesel processes. The new seals feature a one-piece, fully all-welded construction that eliminates non-metallic components within the seal assembly, significantly reducing potential leak paths in installations where integrity and personnel safety are critical. The standard diaphragm design accommodates a wide range of pressure ratings regardless of pipe diameter, giving engineers flexibility across process connection sizes from ½ to 1½ NPS and flange ratings from 150 to 1,500 class per ASME B16.5. Material traceability reports (MTR per EN 10204 3.1) and positive material identification (PMI) are included as standard with every unit, providing the documentation required for critical process and NACE-compliant environments.
