Appointments
Marcel Langlois, Vice President Marketing for Komatsu Canada Limited (KCL) recently announced the appointment of Andrew Andres as Sales Manager for Utility products. Andrew, most recently a Marketing Specialist with KCL, will continue to work out of the Toronto office in his new position. "Andrew's background, both at Komatsu Canada and prior to joining us, made him an ideal candidate for the job," said Mr. Langlois. "As a result of his experience with other manufacturers and markets, he understands Utility equipment, what it can do and how the operators expect it to perform." According to Mr. Andres, he joined Komatsu because of its reputation as a quality manufacturer with a complete line of products. "I have been on both sides of the fence (user and seller) and always found it frustrating that some dealers were not able to satisfy the customers' product needs. Being able to access a full line of high quality Utility equipment from one manufacturer is important to customers. Our Komatsu Utility dealers offer everything from track or skid steer loaders to mini excavators, compact wheel loaders, tractor loader backhoes and small dozers." Andrew's feeling about quality is echoed in a recent brand survey conducted by Komatsu Canada. According to Mr. Langlois, Komatsu products scored very high with end users across Canada. "When the factory builds a top quality product and it is recognized in the field, this makes our job much simpler. Add the strength of our dealer network and you have a strong formula for success." Andrew Andres is looking forward to working with the Komatsu Utility dealer organizations across Canada. "Together we will work to strengthen our Utility teams and to penetrate target markets including landscaping, rental and agriculture. We'll be focused on customer satisfaction because satisfied customers are return customers."
