CarbonCure Technologies recently announced the appointment of Kristal Kaye as Interim CEO. Kaye had previously served as the company’s CFO and, in that capacity, has already been deeply engaged with CarbonCure’s team, strategy and day-to-day operations. Ms. Kaye’s appointment comes as CarbonCure’s founder, Robert Niven, steps away from the CEO role. He will remain a strong supporter of CarbonCure, continuing to serve on the company’s board of directors.

“Everyone at CarbonCure feels deep gratitude to Rob for his pioneering carbon utilization innovation for lower carbon concrete and his tireless dedication to CarbonCure over the past 13 years, with many years of research and development before that,” said Kristal Kaye. “Stepping into this interim role, I am eager to carry Rob’s legacy forward, and our entire team remains committed to that mission, our core values and the success of our concrete producer partners around the world.”

Stepping back from day-to-day leadership of a company I love – one that has shaped so much of my life and career – was not an easy decision. But I’m very glad to continue serving on CarbonCure’s Board and supporting its ongoing success with full confidence in Kristal’s leadership.”

With more than 3 decades of experience and 22 years of executive leadership across a variety of industries, including mining, energy and retail pharmacy, Kristal Kaye brings to the Interim CEO position extensive experience in corporate strategy and financial management and a fresh perspective on the company’s near-term priorities.

Comings and goings at the ALL Family of Companies have resulted in the retirement of a nearly 50-year man and promotions to two other familiar names. First, Rick Mikut, who began his ALL career as a teenager, is retiring after 49 years. Chad Rados will replace him as the new director of crawler crane operations. Brian Meek becomes project manager, Rados’ previous position.

Chad Rados has his own longevity with the company, currently serving in his 30th year. Also, his father retired from ALL in 2022, and his brother remains with the company. ALL’s project manager position is a diverse role that splits time in charge of training and continuing education for sales reps across the national footprint as well as stepping in to provide technical, logistical, and planning support for complex projects originating from any branch.

Brian Meek now takes on that role. Mr. Meek also has a long history with ALL, having been with the company for 21 years, where he also started out as an oiler before moving into the cab as an operator. In recent years, he was a sales representative and an equipment specialist, which saw him in charge of hundreds of bridge and urban construction projects. He also worked alongside Chad Rados to develop some of the training courses he will now be in charge of spearheading in his new role.

Brian Mikut officially retired May 30. Both promotions are effective immediately.
