Nord-Lock Expands X-Series Range to Meet Growing Demand
Nord-Lock recently launched 7 new sizes in the X-series range, making it possible to secure critical joints for even more applications deployed in extreme operating conditions. The expansion is a response to growing market demand for the X-series, which now covers new sizes NLX20sp, NLX22 (7/8"), NLX22sp (7/8"sp), NLX24, NLX24sp, NLX27 and NLX27sp. Utilizing a unique multifunctional design, the X-Series combines the proven wedge-locking technology of the original Nord-Lock® washers with compensation against settlement and reliably securing bolted connections in the toughest environments. This special design allows the X-series to secure bolted joints against thermal cycling, relaxation of soft metals and composites, or slackening caused by assemblies with multiple clamped components – scenarios common in intensive industries such as mining, railways, logistics and the energy sector. In 2025, Nord-Lock® X-series washers became the first washers of this kind to be granted the CE marking.
