AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show in Cornwall
The Association of Ontario Road Supervisors (AORS), together with the Eastern Ontario Road Supervisors Association hosted the Annual Municipal Public Works Trade Show on June 5-6 at the Cornwall Civic Complex, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. This 2-day Trade Show provided an opportunity for public and private sector public works professionals to share information and technical developments in the materials, services and equipment required to build and maintain municipal roads and other core infrastructure. Representatives of numerous municipalities, as well as their work colleagues, were on hand to visit the many booths and share their work experiences. Cornwall's location just a few minutes from Montreal and New York State attracted a large number of visitors from outside the region. The Eastern Ontario Road Supervisors Association has been in existence since 1972. It includes the counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry and Prescott & Russell, the cities of Cornwall and Clarence-Rockland, the Town of Hawkesbury, and 10 townships. It is part of the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors, which has 33 local associations in Ontario and some 2,000 members. The 2025 AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show will be held on June 4-5, 2025, in Woodstock, Ontario.
