Soilmec at bauma 2025

At bauma 2025, held in Munich from April 7-13, Soilmec presented an exhibit focusing on products and human relationships, which are at the core of its business. Soilmec’s stand, a covered area of 375 m2 was characterized by a large open space where relationships can be strengthened, Italian gastronomy can be enjoyed, and products and technologies can be discussed.

Soilmec showcased 3 main product lines: SC, SR, and SM. Innovation and technology were presented within the machines and in the “controls” area, characterized by the mobile training classroom, where it will be possible to try the SR machine simulator and the latest DMS developments.

The SC line, dedicated to “heavy-duty cranes”, has seen significant developments in recent years. These advancements have materialized with the construction of the new Tiger line hydromill, the SC-110 Urban, immediately employed in the Grand Paris Express project, and the development of the SC-130 HD, equipped with various technological setups that make it a multifunctional heavy-duty crane.

The Soilmec micropile machine line were represented at the fair by 3 models that fully express its distinctive features. These multifunctional machines offer excellent performance in all major micropile, tie rod, and soil consolidation technologies, thanks to their versatility and wide range of positions.

The SR line represents the flagship of Soilmec, with multifunctional hydraulic drilling rigs capable of performing all major large-diameter pile and deep Soil Mixing technologies. The range was represented at Bauma by 2 of the most appreciated Blue Tech line models in recent years: the SR-95 and the SR-65. Additionally, the result of the latest studies developed by Soilmec’s engineering department for internal combustion engine machines will be revealed: the new Blue Tech Plus technology, of which the new SR-45 is the progenitor.

In the Controls area, it was possible to discover and experience the latest innovations of the DMS Suite:

  • DME, the Soilmec SR machine simulator, with numerous exercises on drilled pile technologies with Kelly bar and CFA, and a 3D viewer for loading and unloading operations from trucks with remote control.
  • J-Eye Cameras with Artificial Intelligence for person detection, an advanced video surveillance system of the area around the machine for increased safety on site.
  • Smart Maintenance, a new solution with sensors for monitoring the health status of components, and the presentation of an innovative Artificial Intelligence system for machine supervision.
  • DMS-Suite: visitors were able to discover the numerous and proven drilling support automations of the DMS On Board, such as Autodrilling and automatic cycles in various technologies, the latest news on DMS Manager and DMS PC, such as the ability to manage user accounts independently, better organize the fleet by grouping machines and users, or advanced features for integrating machine data with the customer’s management system.
