System Solutions for Sustainable Mobility in the Construction Sector at CONEXPO-CON/AGG
DEUTZ presented its latest developments in the field of sustainable mobility and energy solutions at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas. True to its motto ‘We ensure the world keeps moving’, DEUTZ presented trade fair visitors with innovative system solutions that are optimally tailored to customer requirements. The company’s offering extends from internal combustion engines powered by diesel or biofuels such as HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) to electric drives, battery components, and electricity generators all the way to smart tools in the service business. Like every other DEUTZ internal combustion engine, the star of the DEUTZ stand is approved to run on HVO. The powerful DEUTZ TCD 3.9/4.0 engine was specifically developed for customers in the off-highway segment and offers a compact design that delivers full performance at a constantly high torque over prolonged periods. This extremely reliable all-rounder is characterized by low fuel consumption and is virtually maintenance free. The modular multi-application engine with a power output of 75 to 130 kW can be configured using a variety of options. The broad range of possible applications provides manufacturers with considerable economic benefits – at almost every stage of the value chain. Consequently, the engine platform, which entered into volume production at DEUTZ at the end of 2025, is in high demand from international OEMs. The stand also showcased the DEUTZ TCD 12.8 engine, which enjoys particular popularity in the U.S. market. This powerhouse boasts an impressive output of up to 390 kW, while at the same time delivering low fuel and AdBlue consumption. DEUTZ has revised its EAT system in collaboration with the exhaust experts at HJS Emission Technology – a family business in which the DEUTZ Group holds a 50% stake. The system now complies with the latest standards without compromising on installation space. Examples of the DEUTZ TCD 2.9 and 5.2 liter engines completed the portfolio of high-performance combustion engines on show.
