Condux Introduces BABA Certified Equipment for BEAD Funded Broadband Projects

The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program is expanding access to broadband throughout the U.S. BEAD projects utilize domestically produced materials and equipment. Condux International recently announced that 3 of its premier cable installation products are fully BABA compliant, the Blue Ox Cable Puller, the Gulfstream 350+ Fiber Optic Cable Blower and Gulfstream 400 Fiber Optic Cable Blower.

“With Condux equipment fully BABA compliant, power and communications engineers are able to spec installation methods and equipment, and contractors can bid projects, with confidence knowing that Condux products are certified and ready to work. We pride ourselves on being Minnesota Made and are actively pursuing additional product certifications,” said Condux International CEO James J. Radous III.

The Blue Ox Cable Puller has been designed to excel in the most demanding utility applications. Featuring a heavy-duty steel frame and hydraulically controlled boom and outriggers, The Blue Ox does not require the arm to be supported during pulling operations.

The Gulfstream 350+ Fiber Optic Cable Blower is a next generation fiber optic cable blower. An optimized power band provides better performance at the most desired install speeds. Fully pneumatically driven motors and drive system keep required equipment costs down.

The Gulfstream 400 Fiber Optic Cable Blower can install fiber optic cable up to 90 m/min. The blower is built to handle and efficiently operate with the most common fiber optic cable sizes, and duct sizes up to 50 mm.
