A Palazzani XTJ 52+ Spider Platform for Joly Location
Palazzani ended 2024 with the delivery of a brand new, customized Ragno XTJ 52+ for Joly Location, one of the leading names in France for AWP and lifting equipment rentals. Founded in 1973 by Marcel Joly, Joly Location has over 50 years of experience in the rental sector, also distinguishing itself at European level for safe, efficient and innovative solutions. To reach new heights and expand its horizons, Joly Location has added a brandnew Palazzani XTJ 52+ Spider Lift to its fleet, which already includes over 20 spider platforms with working heights ranging from 13 to 42 m.
“The reasons we chose this Palazzani platform, besides its impressive working height that complements our spider fleet, are its ease of use and the speed with which the machine can be positioned, even in complex environments” said Lionel Joly, managing director of Joly Location.“ What makes Joly Location’s XTJ 52+ even more special is the custom design by Dijon-based artist Pegaz, known for his innovative and futuristic style. “As we have always been involved in the local cultural scene, the idea to collaborate with a local artist from Dijon emerged,” said Lionel Joly. “Pegaz immediately accepted the challenge, and we worked together, blending my vision with his ideas, creating an instant synergy.” With details reminiscent of superhero armor, printed circuits, and cannons, plus a nod to fighter jets with the famous “shark teeth” and a majestic look when raised, the machine draws attention wherever it goes, becoming a visual icon for the company.

With a working height of 52 m, an outreach of 19.5 m, a basket capacity of 400 kg and an hydraulic winch of 980 kg lifting capacity, the XTJ 52+ is ideally suited for telecommunications, electrical networks, and construction or maintenance work on cultural heritage sites.
