HIMOINSA annonçait récemment la nomination de Jesús Santos en tant que directeur pour son unité d’exploitation Power Solutions. Cette annonce vient affirmer l’engagement d’HIMOINSA à devenir une référence sur le marché des solutions technologiques pour l’énergie à destination de projets spéciaux. Monsieur Santos possède plus de 20 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de la production d’énergie. Il a occupé des postes au sein d’entreprises telles que Rolls-Royce, Cummins et Deutz, où il s’est toujours focalisé sur le développement commercial de projets spéciaux haute puissance pour des applications critiques dans le monde entier, et ce principalement dans des secteurs tels que l’industrie, les centres de traitement de données, les infrastructures, la santé, etc. «Nous sommes convaincus que Jesús est à même de diriger stratégiquement nos Power Solutions, en se concentrant sur les projets critiques, en coordonnant une équipe pluridisciplinaire et en canalisant les besoins du marché à travers notre équipe commerciale et nos ingénieurs expérimentés», expliquait Francisco Gracia, président et directeur général d’HIMOINSA, tout en insistant sur le fait que cette nouvelle recrue est fondamentale dans le plan de croissance de l’entreprise. Depuis 2015, HIMOINSA fait partie du groupe Yanmar, une entreprise mondialement réputée qui occupe les premiers rangs dans le domaine de la conception et fabrication de moteurs industriels.
Depuis le 1er janvier 2024, José Antonio Nieto, de Putzmeister Iberica et ANMOPYC, est le nouveau président du CECE - Committee for European Construction Equipment. Il succède à Alexandre Marchetta. Après avoir été vice-président au cours des 2 dernières années, monsieur Nieto assume désormais la présidence du CECE pour 2024 et 2025. Il poursuit le travail engagé par ses prédécesseurs sur les axes forts que sont la décarbonations et la digitalisation. L’objectif principal de José Antonio pour 2024 sera la mise en œuvre de la nouvelle législation. Cela fait suite au travail entrepris sous la présidence d’Alexandre Marchetta pour participer aux discussions avec les législateurs et éclairer le débat tout au long du processus de rédaction. La prochaine étape consistera à guider et à aider les membres à mesure que la législation entre en vigueur. Comme le souligne Jose Antonio, ces législations ont des ramifications importantes touchant de près les objectifs du CECE.
Depuis le 1er janvier 2024, Vicki Reeves est la nouvelle directrice du marketing mondial et du développement des canaux de distribution pour la marque Perkins, responsable de la définition et de la mise en œuvre du plan marketing mondial. Madame Reeves, qui a récemment occupé le poste de directrice du support produit, dirigera également le programme mondial Perkins Distributor Excellence et mettra en œuvre les stratégies de marketing et de location. «Je suis passionnée par la manière dont nous commercialisons nos produits et services et dont nous créons une expérience positive pour nos clients et utilisateurs finaux. After nearly 4 decades with BOMAG, Dan Church retired from his position as sales manager for Canada with BOMAG Americas effective December 31, 2023. He began his long tenure with BOMAG Canada, Inc. in 1987, hired as the light equipment sales representative for western Canada. Throughout his 36 years with BOMAG, Dan Church has held multiple positions at the company. After 5 years managing the western Canada territory, he moved to the then headquarters for BOMAG Canada in Mississauga, Ontario, to manage light equipment sales for Ontario. Drive and dedication led to another promotion, this time as a sales representative for BOMAG heavy equipment in eastern Canada. Mr. Church was later tapped to lead the sales program throughout the country, a position he has held for more than 25 years. “Dan has helped navigate BOMAG in Canada through much growth and change over the years. Through his leadership, BOMAG has modernized the distribution channel to be among the best in the country,” said Cole Renken, vice president of sales and marketing for BOMAG Americas. “While we will miss his contributions to BOMAG’s sales success and his tribal knowledge, we wish him the best as he moves forward with his life’s next chapter.” Dan Church is quick to recognize the support he has been given at BOMAG, and he says he owes much of his success to the contributions of the many BOMAG team members, dealers and customers. “BOMAG is an incredible company who treats employees well. From sales to service, we have an incredible team of dedicated individuals, and they are a primary reason I stayed with the company,” he said. “I want to thank the many friends I have at SMS Equipment and especially the customers throughout Canada I’ve worked with over the years. Condux International is pleased to announce the appointment of James J. (Jim) Radous III as chief executive officer. Mr. Radous previously held the chief revenue officer position at Condux. He is an accomplished domestic and international business leader and came to Condux International with substantial executive level experience. His most recent appointment was as business unit vice president for Federal Signal Corporation in the Environmental Safety Group. Prior to Federal Signal Corp., he served as president and CEO of UniCarriers Americas Corporation and as corporate officer of UniCarriers Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. He previously served as executive vice president, Sales – Americas where he led revenue generation in key areas, growing UniCarriers Americas to a top-tier supplier of material handling equipment, along with executive roles at Emerson Electric Company and Klein Tools. James Radous will be working with Ryan Schrick as part of a leadership team moving this vision forward. Mr. Schrick joined Condux International in July of 2023 as chief financial officer and comes to Condux with over 20 years of financial experience working in manufacturing businesses with over 10 years in financial leadership roles.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company recently announced that Joe Burke has been named vice president of its North America Commercial business. he succeeds Dave Beasley, who decided to retire after nearly 40 years with Goodyear and reports to Steve McClellan, president, Goodyear Americas. “Joe is a proven leader and has delivered strong results in both our Global Aviation and North America commercial businesses,” said Mr. McClellan. “He has a deep knowledge of the commercial tire and service industry, having previously led commercial sales and original equipment account teams and being instrumental in bringing Goodyear’s fleet solutions to the market.”
Cemen Tech Inc. recently announced the appointment of Ashley Lathrum as the director of Marketing. In this role, she will oversee Cemen Tech’s global marketing strategy and execution across all segments. Ms. Lathrum brings over 10 years of B2B marketing experience to Cemen Tech, most recently from John Deere Power Systems, where she served as Marketing Communications manager. While at John Deere, she led integrated marketing campaigns, established new digital platforms to showcase technologies and doubled media placements year-over-year. “We’re excited to welcome Ashley and her robust marketing skill set to our company,” said Mark Rinehart, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Cemen Tech. “As we continue expanding our reputation for quality, innovation and service, Ashley’s leadership and vision will be invaluable for communicating the unique Cemen Tech value proposition across markets.” With a degree in Organizational and Business Communications from the University of Northern Iowa, Ashley Lathrum’s educational background complements her expertise in the marketing field. Danfoss Drives recently announced that Hannes Leichtfried has been appointed head of sales and marketing for the Drives business segment in North America. With nearly 30 years of experience at Danfoss in Austria and Germany, Mr. Leichtfried, an Austrian native, is excited to continue to build the North America Drives business. Hannes Leichtfried began his career at Danfoss in 1994 as a technical support engineer, then moved into sales and marketing roles. He was most recently the head of sales and marketing for Danfoss Drives in the Central European region. In his new role, he will be based at the Danfoss Drives’ Loves Park, Illinois, office. “Our region has a strong trend of growth for Danfoss Drives,” said Rick Sporrer, president of Danfoss North America. “With high-quality products, and our experienced and competent team on the ground, we have the foundation to take a leading position in the North America region. Hannes brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record, and I look forward to working with him to increase our market share in North America.” Hannes Leichtfried has an undergraduate engineering degree from Federal Higher Technical Institute (Austria) as well as additional training in sales, marketing and strategic management.
General Motors recently announced the appointment of Kristian Aquilina, current GM Canada vice president, vehicle sales, service and marketing to GM Canada president and managing director, effective immediately. Mr. Aquilina will report to Marissa West, who was previously appointed to senior vice president and president, GM North America. Kristian Aquilina leads GM Canada at a pivotal time of growth and opportunity, as the industry prepares for an all-electric future and the company continues to build on its recent investments in Canadian manufacturing, EV supply chain and software development work. He joined GM Canada in 2023 as vice president of vehicle sales, service, and marketing, bringing his global experience and perspective to the Canadian dealer network and the entire GM Canada enterprise. Under his leadership, GM Canada led the industry in total market share and total sales for 2023 – the first time since 2009.
