Sinsheim Technology Museum Showcases Historic and Current Commercial Vehicles from Mercedes-Benz

Back in September, the Sinsheim Technology Museum, in cooperation with the South German Truck Veterans Association, hosted the South German Historic Commercial Vehicle Meet.

More than 180 elaborately restored vintage trucks and buses from past decades – from the early 20th century to models from the 1980s – attend. Among them, Mercedes-Benz Trucks Classic presented 14 selected vehicles from its own collection alongside 2 current truck models from the brand.

Under the museum’s famous submarine, visitors could obtain information about rides and consult with Mercedes-Benz Trucks Classic partner Dreyer about classic car spare parts, restoration, and vehicle care.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks offered visitors the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art truck technology: take a seat in one of the two fully electric eActros 600 that are already on the road today.

For fans of classic commercial vehicles, rides in the vintage L 311, LP 323, L 1113, and historic O 3500 buses were also available.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles. The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Classic division preserves technical cultural heritage and promotes the encounter between tradition and innovation.
