Heil Adds Autocar Xpeditors To Ready Truck Program Heil Environmental, an industry leader in specialized refuse truck body manufacture and product support, has added a large order of Autocar Xpeditor trucks to their Ready Truck program. Heil started the Ready Truck program over 10 years ago in order to maintain a fleet of ready-to-work trucks that cuts through the red tape and production schedules to provide immediate solutions to urgent equipment needs. According to Richard Ball, Heil's Ready Truck manager, "The Autocar Xpeditor is the preferred chassis for many of our customers and the additional stocking units will keep our inventories at levels we need to quickly serve our customers' needs. "We're extremely pleased to be a supplier to Heil's Ready Truck program," said Jim Johnston, president of Autocar Trucks. "They are a very respected refuse truck body builder and it's a privilege to be counted on as one of their suppliers." Heil, a subsidiary of Dover Industries, produces a wide array of refuse collection bodies (garbage trucks): Front Loaders, Rear Loaders, Side Loaders, and Recycling Units. They are renowned for after-the-sale support, and their truck bodies are noted for productivity, long life, and ease of maintenance. Heil sells its products to municipal customers, national accounts, and independent waste haulers via a world-class network of approximately 50 distributors, but also sells direct in certain geographic areas as well.
