Cummins Inc. announced during World of Concrete 2006 that the 2007 ISL delivers increased performance and fuel efficiency for vocational customers. It combines the lightest weight of any engine in its class and the highest power-to-weight ratio. The 2007 ISL will feature an enhanced high pressure injection system and a variable geometry turbocharger. The popular ISL engine will also add proven cooled exhaust gas recirculation technology and an integrated particulate filter as will all Cummins 2007 on-highway diesel engines for North America to meet the U.S. EPA and CARB standards for 2007.
