Michelin Introduces New X TWEEL Turf Sizes
Michelin North America, Inc., is adding to the portfolio of its TWEEL airless radial line. Michelin will introduce new TURF products coming to the commercial zero-turn radius (ZTR) line. Available as original equipment or as an aftermarket fitment, operators of John Deere ZTrak 900 Series ZTR mowers with 48” mower decks can buy the MICHELIN® X® TWEEL® TURF airless solution using 24”, rear tire/wheels with 4x4” bolt-pattern hubs for their commercial mowers. The 24x12N12 size 4x4” bolt pattern has a 340 kg load capacity. Operators of Kubota Z700 Series mowers with 54” and 60” mower decks can buy the MICHELIN® X® TWEEL® TURF airless solution using 24”, rear tire/wheels with 5-4.5” bolt-pattern hubs for their commercial mowers. The 24x12N12 size has a 340 kg load capacity and is available as original equipment or aftermarket. Delayed due to COVID-19, the 15” MICHELIN® X® TWEEL® TURF caster is now available to accompany large diesel ZTR mowers that use a 26” rear drive tire. The 15x6N6 size configuration is designed to provide enhanced performance and more stability with its flat, smooth tread design and has a load capacity of 168 kg and a 25 km/h speed rating.
