Louis Jones Construction recently purchased an Alliance concrete pump from Ottawa Equipment & Hydraulic Inc. Louis Jones Construction Ltd. has been in operation since 1991. The owners Louis & Juanita Jones started up their company working out of their home and small rented yard space for the storage of materiel. The first few years of business, the staff consisted of 3 brothers and of an annual volume of sales of $500,000. Today the company has an average of 25 employees and a volume of sales of $2.8 million. Louis Jones Construction is now involved in the construction of the St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville. To perform the job, Louis Jones knew that the purchase of an Alliance concrete pump would be most beneficial on this project rather than renting. Since its purchase, the pump has been used a lot in their business and has already been out on rental. The company has decided to rent their pump to other contractors when not required on any of their projects. Adding a large concrete pump to its fleet of equipment has saved the company a lot of time spent searching to rent a pump and has also reduced drastically the job cost versus pouring concrete with a crane and a concrete bucket.
Ottawa Equipment & Hydraulic Inc. has recently been appointed as a distributor for Eastern Canada for Alliance concrete pumps. As of today, 2 new units have been put in service in the Ottawa region. OEH also sells Manitou fork lifts, Komatsu fork lifts, Yanmar excavators and Palfinger products (cranes, fork lifts, roll-off systems). OEH offers a complete service on all the equipment they sell. Alliance Concrete Pump Inc. is the North American representative for Jun Jin concrete pumps located in Seoul, Korea. 11 models of pump are available for the Canadian market.
